Considering the recent spate of power outages plaguing our Bay Area communities, San Francisco Supervisor Myrna Melgar has taken a decisive step to address the issue head-on.
On Monday, February 26, 2024, the Land Use & Transportation Committee will convene at the City Hall Board Chamber for a critical hearing regarding PG&E outages.
These outages, occurring with alarming frequency and often lasting for extended periods, have adversely affected countless residents, businesses, and schools.
The hearing will begin after 3:30 p.m. PT, offering an opportunity for impacted individuals to share their experiences firsthand. Every speaker will be allotted two minutes to testify, ensuring that all voices are heard. Whether you’ve endured days without power or have insights to contribute, your testimony is invaluable.
We urge you to join us–your participation can catalyze positive change and demand transparency, accountability, and reliable service from PG&E.
